Saturday, October 24, 7:30–8:30pm | West Stockbridge, MA
Erika MacDonald performs her solo show “Tea TIME” at The Foundry on October 24. In the show, tea is both prop and metaphor, and the potions in her pot are “life-changing.” The Foundry bills it as an intimate hour that blends chaos, cabaret, ritual, and chanting with emotional depth and cursing.
MacDonald is a Fringe Festival veteran who lives in Covington, Kentucky. “Tea TIME” premiered at the 2025 Cincinnati Fringe Festival, where it won the Artists’ Pick Encore and moved to the main stage for an extra sold-out performance. CityBeat named it one of the best theater productions of 2025, and critic Kirk Sheppard of The Sappy Critic called it “a cross between Mr. Rogers and your wry, slightly chaotic best friend.” MacDonald has won Best of Fest honors at Fringe festivals more than 10 times. She and storyteller Paul Strickland made the shadow puppet horror play “13 Dead Dreams of ‘Eugene,’” which won the top award at the 2018 Orlando Fringe and played Off-Broadway at the Soho Playhouse.
