Saturday night Nicole Fiacco held a double celebration at her eponymous gallery: the inauguration of her soaring new space at 336 Warren Street and an artist's reception for Karen Halverson, a photographer whose work is in the collections of the Getty and Smithsonian, among other museums.  Art-scene cognoscenti, friends of Karen, friends of Nicole, and seeming scores of Fiaccos turned out to see Halverson's landscapes of an eerily sullied American west.  Adding to the pervasive sense of good will was the presence of actor Steve Gilborn, Halverson's husband, on the mend from recent surgery.
