Amy Krzanik reports from Becket. Dancers and dance-lovers alike partied the night away on Saturday, August 24, as Jacob's Pillow brought its 2013 season to a close. Attendees chose a finale performance by either The Martha Graham Dance Company or Abraham.In.Motion, then filed into the tent for cocktails and sweets from Chocolate Springs, The Dream Away Lodge, Barrington Bites, Becket Bakehouse, and Haven Bakery and Cafe. Those who felt like posing could visit Blake’s Barn, where a photobooth was set up to snap folks dressed in supplied props like fancy hats, feather boas, and Jacob's Pillow themed temporary tattoos. Over at the Bakalar Studio, DJ BFG supplied beats for the packed crowd as they partied late into the night. Proceeds from the finale celebration benefit the Pillow’s community programs.
