Jay Jurden performs at Mass MoCA's Club B10 on August 29, coming off the release of his Hulu comedy special "Yes Ma'am."
Jurden, originally from Mississippi and now based in New York, has become a familiar face on late night—a four-time guest on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," with additional appearances on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert," "The Late Late Show with James Corden," "Comedy Central Stand-Up Presents," and HBO's "High Maintenance." He spent time as a staff writer on Apple TV+'s Emmy-nominated "The Problem with Jon Stewart," which put his political and cultural sensibility to work.
His debut comedy album "Jay Jurden Y'all" hit number one on iTunes. His writing has appeared in The New Yorker, Vulture, Teen Vogue, McSweeney's, and even Marvel's Voices: X-Men #1.
