Sunday, December 21 | 4pm
Kinderhook, NY

A regional tradition returns to the Kinderhook Reformed Church on Sunday, December 21 at 4pm, as Lessons & Carols marks its 13th year. Held at the historic church at 21 Broad Street, the late-afternoon service blends readings with congregational singing, choral works, and organ music that heralds the Christmas season.

Pastor Rudolph Visser presides, with musical direction and organ by David Smith, leading an ensemble of select singers joined by the congregation for traditional hymns and carols. The program spans music from the 17th through 20th centuries, with extended organ preludes beginning at 3:45pm and a rousing Widor toccata concluding the service.

This event is free and open to the public regardless of faith or denomination. Capacity is limited, so early arrival is recommended.
