The Hudson Museum of Photography (HuMP) at 552 Warren Street is the city's newest gallery and had no trouble attracting a large crowd for Sunday's opening. The night was the first American exhibition of paintings by interior designerLucien Rees Roberts, featuring his series depicting visions of the Dalmatian Coast. The paintings are both exotic and controlled and highlight the artist's control expressive subtle tones. Hung in the gallery which radiates Hudson's classic charm, Rees-Roberts' "Lopud Series"  and the space are well partnered. The collection will be on display through December 29. (Pictured at left: HuMP owners Brian Swardstrom and Peter Spears on the left and right of the artist.)
