July 11, 9am–1pm | Poughkeepsie, NY | Free (some document fees apply)

The Consulate General of Mexico brings its mobile consular services to the Mid-Hudson Library System auditorium in Poughkeepsie on July 11, offering Mexican nationals in the Hudson Valley the opportunity to take care of official documents without making the trip to a consular office in New York City.

The program handles passports, matrícula consular cards—the high-security consular ID valid for five years—certified copies of Mexican birth certificates, and voter registration via the INE card, which is Mexico's primary national ID and allows citizens living abroad to vote in Mexican elections. All sessions are by appointment only, between 9am and 1pm. Appointments are free and can be made by calling MiConsulado at 1-424-309-0009, which also accepts WhatsApp messages. Some document services carry fees.

Spanish-language assistance is available at the reference desk at the adjacent Adriance Memorial Library.

Mid-Hudson Library System Auditorium, 105 Market St., Poughkeepsie, NY. Appointments: 1-424-309-0009 (WhatsApp accepted).
