Looking more like movie stars than a political power couple, Diane and Deval Patrick stopped by the first dinner dance that the National Alliance of Mental Illness of Berkshire County (NAMIBC) has had since it was founded 25 years ago. The governor spoke eloquently about de-stigmatizing mental illness. "No problem is solved unless it is brought into the light, into the sunshine." Molly Boxer, NAMIBC president and the dinner chair, spoke movingly about how mental illness had affected her own son and how NAMIBC had taught her family how to cope with a challenging situation.
