There are plenty of nostalgia acts working the 1980s rock circuit, but Angelz Fury doesn’t treat the era as kitsch—it leans into the size of it: the volume, the precision, the theatricality. For a few hours, the stage at the The Proprietor’s Lodge becomes a small arena, built on the muscle memory of a generation raised on VHS concert tapes and late-night radio.
Fronting the band is Tina Valenti, known locally as the former voice of Aquanett, whose range and control anchor the set. She moves easily between the melodic and the aggressive. Around her, a twin-guitar lineup—John Whitcore and Mike Tracy—recreates the layered, high-gloss attack that defined the decade, trading solos and harmonies with an ease that comes from long familiarity with the genre. The rhythm section includes Bassist Michael Bertolami and drummer Mark Duane.
Expect a tightly played run through of canonical hits—big choruses, bigger riffs, and a crowd that likely knows every word.
