Saturday, September 19 | Rhinebeck, NY
Rhinebeck Porchfest returns on September 19, the annual event that turns front porches, lawns, and yards across the village into small neighborhood stages for a full day of live music. What started as a simple community celebration has grown into one of Rhinebeck's signature events, with thousands of residents and visitors strolling from performance to performance over the course of the day.
The lineup covers a wide cross-section of genres performed by local musicians of all ages, hosted on porches volunteered by residents throughout the village. The festival is entirely free and volunteer-organized, and doubles as an informal boost for Rhinebeck's shops and restaurants as foot traffic moves between sets. Past editions have also brought in sidewalk chalk art from Emmy-nominated artist and director Mickey Duzyj.
A downloadable event guide with the full schedule and porch map is available on the festival's website.
