On second Saturdays May through October, Kent Barns is the place to be. From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the park-like shopping village of restored antique barns in Kent, Connecticut hosts a bounty of seasonal activities and delights. You’ll find exhibitions from New York City-style art galleries, fresh farm produce, boutique pop-ups, and live music.
Little ones will love storytime with House of Books under the big maple tree. Head to the steps of RT Facts antiques for an armful of locally grown blooms at the Kent Flower Market. And be sure to cap it all off with brunch at Swyft, a restored taverna with award-winning, wood-fired sourdough pizzas, small plates, and elevated entrees made with local ingredients.
