Installation View, This Land.
Founded in New York City in 2006 by Susan Eisner Eley, SEFA hosts a dynamic roster of American and international artists, and focuses on contemporary art by emerging and mid-career artists in a range of media. In its new venue in downtown Hudson, solo and group exhibitions showcase abstract and figurative work, created by diverse artists from the US, Latin America, Asia, and Europe. The space is now a principal gallery within the upstate art scene—integral in welcoming local communities and new visitors to this burgeoning arts region. A female-owned and operated business, SEFA’S success reflects its commitment to adapting to unprecedented, ever-changing global conditions, while sharing art with broad audiences.
