Now–September 13 | Tivoli, NY

Available Items opens its third annual "NUTS + BOLTS" exhibition on August 7, running through September 13—a group show of 13 New York-based creatives designing furniture and home decor using only readily accessible off-the-shelf materials and parts from their local hardware store. The show is framed around design ingenuity and the democratic spirit of DIY—the idea that inventive design doesn't require rare materials or fabrication resources most people don't have access to.

The participant list includes Alexander Perrelli, Fun Stuff Design, Grace Lang, Gretchen Jones, Harry Allen Design, Julia Elsas, Kristen Mills, Mallory Anita Lawson, Natalie Beall, Olivia Redfield, Rove Works, Serwata Peck, and William Stone. A full checklist of the works on view is available through the gallery.

Available Items is a design store and gallery founded in Tivoli in 2022 by Chad Phillips and Kristin Coleman, built around championing contemporary design and reflecting how people actually live. Alongside its rotating exhibitions, the shop carries an eclectic mix of furniture, art, and objects—largely from small New York studios—plus vintage pieces and books on art, architecture, and the decorative arts. Open Friday through Sunday, noon to 5pm, and by chance.
