The Butterfly House has been exquisitely designed by architect Joel Sanders. Perched on the side of Mount Merino in Hudson, the home is sited to take advantage of the breathtaking views of the Hudson River and the Catskill Mountains. The exterior is clad in cedar while the interior is a contrast of bamboo floors and a white concrete shell. There is a loft-like living and dining area, adjoining master bedroom, living room with floating wood staircase, den, and a lower-level private guest suite. The pool area has a concrete ramp that leads down to a porch used for outdoor dining or lounging by the hot tub. Listed for $2.7 million by Gary DiMauro Real Estate
