Savvy Hive hosts the FleaHive Market at Hotel Downstreet on September 19, a curated flea market built around secondhand, upcycled, handmade, and vintage clothing, textiles, jewelry, and accessories. The event is free to attend and is co-hosted by Door Prize, the European comfort food restaurant attached to the hotel.
Savvy Hive is an eco-conscious secondhand shop run by Jessica Sweeney, who also founded and owns Common Folk Artist Collective. The shop has built its following around a rotating mix of vintage clothing and goods from local artisans, and FleaHive extends that same curated, circular-fashion sensibility.
Hotel Downstreet is also home to Door Prize, the European comfort food restaurant run by husband-and-wife team Jenny Klowden and Bryan "Swifty" Josephs, who started as a pop-up at Mass MoCA before opening their permanent Main Street location last year.
Hotel Downstreet, 40 Main Street, North Adams, MA. Free entry. More at savvyhive.co/fleahive-market.
