A ready-made Thanksgiving is the next best thing to having a private caterer in your kitchen. You can order the entire meal or choose the mains and sides to fill in the gaps (or the items you just don’t feel like making yourself). Here are eight regional purveyors who are ready to cook up a great Thanksgiving for you and yours. All of the menus are on their websites or Facebook pages, and are linked below.

Talbott & Arding, Hudson

No surprise that Talbott & Arding’s Thanksgiving menu would include out-of-this-world cheese and charcuterie platters. But the renowned provisions shop has all the rest for your table, too: roasted turkey breast, gravy, cranberry orange sauce, mushroom gravy, pumpkin pie, plus peanut brittle to boot, among other offerings of a traditional menu.

The details:  Here's the menu. Orders may be placed until the end of the day on Thursday, November 16, 2023. Orders will be available for in-store pick-up on Tuesday, November 21 and Wednesday, Nov. 22 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

The Marketplace, Sheffield and Great Barrington

We love the sumptuous items found every day at The Marketplace’s various locations, and its Thanksgiving dinner menu promises to deliver (although you still have to pick it up). Choose your turkey — full or roasted breast —or something you don't see on order every day: a turkey drumstick. The Marketplace lets you add some other unusual twists to your table, like spinach and mushroom lasagna or quiche. Just two of you? There’s a full Thanksgiving dinner à deux, $52.

The details: Here's the menu. Place order by Friday, Nov. 17. Call (413) 528-5775 or (413) 248-5040, x1, or online. Pickup is Wednesday, Nov. 22.

Mezze Bistro & Bar, Williamstown

One of the most celebrated restaurants in the Berkshires for over 20 years, Mezze’s Thanksgiving-to-go offers a classic full-blown dinner, or a fully-cooked half turkey. Favorite sides include a kale salad, sausage or vegetarian, and green beans almondine. Assorted Mezze cookies make a nice alternative (or addition to) pumpkin pie: Bonus: Order your holiday centerpiece courtesy Avela Floral Design and pick it up with your feast.

The details: Here's the menu. Pre-order online by Friday, Nov. 17. Pickup is Wednesday, Nov. 22 from 1-6 p.m.

Haven Café and Bakery, Lenox

“Let Haven cook Thanksgiving dinner,” says its website, and we’re more than happy to do so. Order a complete turkey and fixings meal for just $28, and/or add offerings such as an apricot-almond-sausage stuffing, maple ginger roasted root vegetables, and Haven’s inimitable baked goods. Throw in some of Haven’s ginger cardamon or currant scones for brunch on Friday.

The details: Here's the menu. Order by Saturday, Nov. 18 at 3 p.m. Pickup is Wednesday, November 22 between 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Rossi & Sons, Poughkeepsie.

Rossi’s Deli may be known for its specialty Italian sandwiches, but it’s places like this that can make anything taste good. Choose from a small, medium, or large Thanksgiving feast. True to its Italian heritage, Rossi's menu also includes fried ricotta ravioli, baked ziti and other favorites. Oh — and tiramisu.

The Details: Here's the menu. You can also download the app and streamline your order. Pick-up is Wednesday, Nov. 22.

Misto's pumpkin skillet cake with cream cheese frosting and toasted pecans

Misto, Red Hook

While we wait for this husband-and-wife team of caterers (he, Brazilian; she, Ukrainian) to open their storefront, we’ll satisfy ourselves with their popup Thanksgiving menu, which features some twists on the traditional meal. How about a grilled vegetable box? Turkey “porchetta” or a brined and smoked boneless pork loin? Even pumpkin pie gets a makeover as a pumpkin skillet cake. See why we’re jazzed for Misto to open its doors?

The details: Here's the menu. Deadline for Thanksgiving pre-orders is Wednesday, Nov. 15. Pickup is Wednesday, Nov. 22 between 2-6 p.m. at the Misto kitchen, 7466 South Broadway.

The Pantry, Washington Depot

The Pantry has been providing take-home feasts for many years. The menu is extensive and includes delectable hors d'oeuvres such as smoked salmon and truffled mousse pate. For the main meal, there is sliced roasted turkey and baked ham and traditional sides. A selection of pies, cheesecakes, tortes and berry crisps lend diversity to dessert.

The details: Here's the menu. Order in person or by phone at (860) 868-0258. The Pantry will email an order form on request. Cutoff for pre-orders is Thursday, Nov. 16 and the pre-paid orders are to be picked up Wednesday, Nov. 22.

Community Table, New Preston

One of Litchfield County’s most acclaimed and cherished restaurants is, yes, a local fixture to meet in a chic, relaxed environment. But it also offers its hospitality through takeout. Selections for the holiday table include an oven-ready local heritage breed organic fresh turkey, carrot hummus, savory corn pudding, roasted Brussels sprouts and chewy ginger cookies.

The details: Here's the menu. Cutoff for all orders is Friday, Nov. 17. Pickup is Wednesday, Nov. 22, 1-4 p.m. Turkeys are limited, so best order now.
