Friday, January 30, 2026 | Studio E, Linde Center for Music and Learning (Tanglewood), Stockbridge, MA | 7pm

Violinist Joshua Brown, one of the most compelling young artists on the global classical stage and recipient of a 2025 Avery Fisher Career Grant, appears at Tanglewood Learning Institute on Friday, January 30, at 7 pm for an intimate recital in Studio E at the Linde Center for Music and Learning.

Brown has earned international acclaim for a sound praised for its depth and expressive nuance. His performance at TLI offers audiences in the Berkshires a rare chance to hear his rich interpretations up close. His career highlights include major awards at international competitions — including top prizes and audience awards at the 2024 Queen Elisabeth Competition in Brussels — and performances with orchestras and chamber ensembles around the world.

Presented as part of TLI’s year-round series of concerts and artist-centered events, this recital showcases Brown’s lyrical command of the violin alongside collaborative pianist Dina Vainshtein.

Tickets and program details are available through the Boston Symphony Orchestra’s website and the Tanglewood box office.
