Time and Space Limited in Hudson is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a year of events that kicked off January 29 with the opening of the "Spaces In Places" gallery exhibition. Linda Mussmann founded TSL in New York City in 1973, with Claudia Bruce partnering up not long after. They created performance art out of multiple spaces in the city for 20 years before moving to Hudson. Over the past three decades TSL has become a sanctuary for art, theater, movies, community, youth programing, activism and so much more. Mussmann and Bruce welcomed many longtime friends and collaborators to the opening of their retrospective Sunday, surrounded by large photographs marking significant moments in the history of TSL and the couple's vast body of work.
The coming year will feature exhibitions from Christine Heller starting March 11, Frank Tartaglione May 6, and Roberto Juarez opening on July 1. A gala and other events are also in the works. Visit TSL online for more information.
