Saturday, February 7 | The Foundry, West Stockbridge, MA | 7:30–9:30pm
On Saturday evening, The Foundry hosts "Valentine Vortex: Songs & Readings," a mixed-media program that brings together local writers and musicians for an exploration of love—romantic, ambivalent, fractured, and unresolved. Framed loosely around the idea of love as a force that pulls, spins, and sometimes resists definition.
The lineup features a rotating group of regional voices working across song and text, including multidisciplinary artist Noh Bailey and writer Norman Douglas, among others. Performances move between readings and music, creating a conversational rhythm that leaves room for humor, doubt, and reflection alongside more direct expressions of feeling.
