Wheaton Farm in Washington is an 1845 farmhouse and a separate dairy barn listed on the State Register of Historic Places (it's one of the oldest barns in Connecticut). Privately situated on 80 acres, the farmhouse is one of the few Gothic Revival homes in rural Connecticut. The renovated six-bedroom, four-bathroom house has a living room, a chef’s kitchen, eat-in dining area, and a large screened veranda with views of the parklike grounds. In addition to the historic barn, the property has a calf barn, milk house, chicken coop, formal garden with marble patio, original apple orchard, sheep field, cornfield, two streams, stone walls, and marble walkways. Listed for $3.75 million by Madonna & Phillips Group at William Pitt Sotheby’s.
