After a decade of writing for RI (along with many other publications and organizations) Jamie took over as editor in 2025. He has a masters in journalism from NYU, a wonderful wife, two kids and a Carolina dog named Zelda.

Actor Brian Cox (right), honored at BIFF 2025, with designer Bob Mackie (left). Cox, a multi-award-winning actor known for his roles in "Succession" and numerous theater productions, was the festival's featured honoree. Mackie, renowned for his costume designs for celebrities like Cher and Carol Burnett, joined the celebration.
