Colorful trees celebrating famous fictional protagonists and comic book stars rubbed branches with those honoring real-life local heroes including first responders, astronauts, and current and former members of the military at Berkshire Museum’s “Festival of Trees 2019: Heroes” preview party on Friday, Nov. 15. From Ad Lib to Zip ‘N Sort, local schools, businesses and organizations decorated more than 100 displays that will be on view through January 4, 2020. Preview party guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres and desserts from KJ Nosh, a signature cocktail prepared by Thistle & Mirth, and live music from Judy Handler and Mark Levesque. Proceeds from the event benefit the Museum’s educational programs.
