Returning indoors for the first time since 2019, the Berkshire Museum’s Festival of Trees debuted with a soiree on Friday evening, Nov. 17. With the theme of “Nostalgia,” this year’s exhibit harks back to all that the greater Pittsfield community loves about its downtown museum, which is currently celebrating its 120th anniversary. Prior to sipping, snacking, and mingling in the Crane Room upstairs, guests were treated to a talk by songwriter, actor, and ASCAP President and Board Chairman Paul Williams in the first-floor theater. Williams, the winner of an Oscar, three Grammys, and two Golden Globes, has written songs for the Carpenters, Barbra Streisand, Ella Fitzgerald, Elvis Presley, and David Bowie.
“Festival of Trees: Nostalgia” is on view through January 7, 2024.
