Monday evening, May 20 saw a parade of black and white finery come through the doors of The Mount in Lenox, Mass. Supporters wore their best two-tone formalwear to Berkshire Community Action Council’s Black and White Spring Gala. The fundraiser for the local non-profit organization included tastings from more than 20 Berkshire County restaurants and caterers. Guests took advantage of the spring weather (no rain!) and strolled the formal gardens in bloom as they sipped and snacked. Funds raised from the event’s ticket sales and silent auction go to support the work of BCAC, which helps county residents with fuel assistance and weatherization services, emergency services, food, clothing, financial literacy training and more.
