Everett Bradley’s funk-fortified “Holidelic” revue has become a live seasonal regional tradition that few want to miss. And this year the festive funk will come to Kaatsbaan Cultural Park when Bradley and his merry crew bust it out there on December 12 and 13.

Flamboyant performer and percussionist Bradley is known for his touring work with Bruce Springsteen, Bon Jovi, and Hall and Oates. In addition to being the first American artist to perform in the musical “Stomp,” he served as the musical director for Carly Simon and NBC’s “The Meredith Vieria Show” and has recorded with artists ranging from Cyndi Lauper to Chris Botti and Joey Ramone.

His colorful, over-the-top “Holidelic” show has been described by The New Yorker as “a flashy, bass-heavy retro-futuristic take on the holidays” that sees him leading a large, brass-heavy band in the role of Papadelic, a funky fusion of George Clinton and Santa Claus.

Everett Bradley’s “Holidelic” will perform at Kaatsbaan Cultural Park’s black box theater in Tivoli on December 12 and 13 at 8pm. Tickets are $49.50.
