On Saturday, June 7, the Norman Rockwell Museum hosted “I Spy! A Party”, a joyful opening celebration for the summer exhibition I SPY! Walter Wick’s Hidden Wonders. Families and fans gathered on the museum’s scenic grounds for an afternoon of playful puzzles and creative challenges
The event featured a picnic buffet prepared by local chef Kate Baldwin, gelato from Common Meadows Creamery, and sweet “bundtinis” for dessert. Children (and nostalgic adults) delighted in a treasure hunt that wound through the galleries, a giant sandbox for hands-on fun, and a family-friendly brick-building competition inspired by Walter Wick’s intricate miniature scenes.
