March 13 | The Foundry, West Stockbridge, MA | 7:30pm

Improviser, dancer, and director Tom Truss returns to The Foundry on Friday, March 13 at 7:30 pm with another installment of "Just Add Water," an evening of spontaneous performance built from audience suggestions and the creative instincts of a cast of Berkshire-based performers. Following two lively performances in 2025, the event brings together participants from Truss’s winter workshop Spontaneous Combustion along with a rotating ensemble of actors and movers ready to build scenes, movement, and moments of theater in real time.

Guided by Truss, the format invites the audience to contribute prompts that performers transform into impromptu pieces that move between improvisational theater, movement, and poetic storytelling. The result is an unpredictable performance that balances humor, experimentation, and occasional flashes of surprising emotional depth.

Their work often blends theatrical playfulness with a collaborative ethos that encourages performers and audiences alike to embrace creative risk.

The performance takes place at The Foundry, 2 Harris Street in West Stockbridge. Seating and bar open at 7 pm. Tickets are $20 general admission, $10 community tickets (limited), and $30 pay-it-forward tickets that help subsidize reduced-price admission.
