Know Your Farmer: Find Your CSA For 2023
Before you pick up your produce, you’ve got to pick your farm. Here’s a list of CSAs in our region.
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) isn’t a new concept anymore, but it still a great model of consumer and farmer cooperation. Paying for a CSA share upfront helps the farmer buy the seed and other inputs for the season; consumers reap the goods every week during the growing season. Convenience is key when picking a farm; you want to make sure you can make your weekly pick up, although some offer several pickup locations if a trip out to the farm doesn’t work for you.
