Rachel Louchen reports from Lenox. The second annual Lenox Caroling Festival began with a very appropriate event: performances by some of the eight groups attending the festival within the coming days. Held at Ventfort Hall on Friday, December 7, the night before the start of the festival, The Cape Chorale of Delaware performed Coldplay's "Viva La Vida" while the MCLA Allegrettos put a spin on the traditional "Twelve Days of Christmas" with dance moves and funny voices. The weekend-long festival of sound showcased vocal performances as well as the town itself, with venues spread throughout the historic village, perfect for those who want to deck the halls while enjoying (or not enjoying) a little Christmas shopping.
