White Memorial Conservation Center, 80 Whitehall Rd, Litchfield, CT

Take a winter stroll with a woolly companion at White Memorial’s Llama Walk with Debbie Labbe on Saturday, January 3. The seasonal series invites participants to lead their own llama along the Cranberry Pond Trail, blending gentle outdoor exercise with one-of-a-kind animal interaction.

Guided by Debbie Labbe of Country Quilt Llama Farm, each walk lasts about an hour and encourages walkers of all ages (unless they're under 4) to enjoy the sanctuary’s scenic trails at a relaxed pace. Advance reservations are required. Call to reserve a llama before the event. A portion of the participation fee benefits the White Memorial Conservation Center.
