“There are no strangers here; only friends you haven't yet met,” reads the saying attributed to poet William Butler Yeats. We here at Rural Intelligence were pleased to meet some of our old and new friends at the Thursday, Aug. 30 Naumkeag at Night. RI supporters received an emailed invite to join us at the penultimate night of music at the mansion and gardens, a magical Trustees of Reservations property. Our guests enjoyed free admission, a cash bar, live music from Bill & The Belles, and a chance for us to offer our sincere thanks for helping to sustain us. Stay tuned for the details about our next supporter event in October.
