The 1795 Ebenezer Hoyt House, one of the very first homes in Kent, has a circa-1900 one-room schoolhouse which would make the perfect guest house. Listed on the State Registry of Historic Places, the three-bedroom Colonial retains many of its original features such as wideboard chestnut floors, a beehive oven, and exposed hand-hewn beams. The schoolhouse sits just outside the back door near a small brook. A large tobacco barn offers studio space and its lower level holds a chicken coop and enclosed run as well as storage. Listed for $399,000 by William Pitt Sotheby's International Realty
