As Shaker Kitchen Day wrapped up at Hancock Shaker Village on Saturday, Oct. 6, Rural Intelligence staff and supporters joined other diners for an intimate, candlelit World's People Dinner. Guests joined together in a farm-fresh communal meal and listened to and participated in Shaker songs, led by a volunteer in full historically accurate dress. All of us at RI were delighted to share a meal with old friends and meet new ones in such a warm and welcoming space. We offer our sincerest thanks to the staff at the Village and all of our friends who came out to celebrate with us.
