June 20 | Adams, MA | $12 adults, $5 ages 6–12, under 5 free | Tickets at the gate only

The ninth annual Berkshire Mountains Faerie Festival takes over Bowe Field in Adams on June 20, the day before the summer solstice, with a lineup that runs from Celtic and alternative music to bagpipes, faerie dancers, puppet theater, artisan vendors, enchanted foods, and a dragon fire pit to dance around as the evening comes in.

The festival is entirely family-oriented and immersive. It's an invitation to participate in whatever degree of faerie-world involvement you're prepared to commit to. Activities include decorating your own faerie wings, building faerie doors, visiting the faerie village, and spending time in the storytelling tent and magical photo booth. People-powered peddle floats and a foam sword arena will also be keeping people moving. Costume is encouraged but not required.

Bowe Field sits off Route 8 at 371 Old Colombia Street in Adams, a few minutes from downtown. Tickets are sold at the gate only—no online presale. The festival runs until 9pm
