March 27–29 | Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health, Stockbridge, MA
At Kripalu in Stockbridge, a three-day retreat led by psychotherapist and author Nancy Colier takes on a too-common untreated condition: emotional exhaustion. Running March 27–29, "The Emotionally Exhausted Woman" is structured as an immersive weekend of teaching, reflection, and practice, aimed at reconnecting participants with what Colier describes as “your intuition, deepest wisdom, and genuine vitality.”
The program combines meditation, journaling, and guided group dialogue with a broader framework that asks participants to examine where they have “abandoned” their own needs in favor of expectation—social, professional, or internalized. The emphasis is less on conventional self-care than on what Colier frames as a shift toward “being self-caring,” a reorientation that centers voice, agency, and embodied awareness.
Set within Kripalu’s residential model, the retreat occurs alongside daily yoga classes, shared meals, and access to the surrounding Berkshire landscape. The schedule alternates between structured sessions and open time, creating a rhythm that mirrors the retreat’s larger goal: stepping off habitual patterns and recalibrating how attention, energy, and identity are organized.
Registration includes programming as well as on-campus amenities. Lodging accommodations are booked separately through Kripalu.
