Sunday, July 19 | Red Hook, NY | Tickets required

The inaugural Atlantis Wine Fair takes place at Rose Hill Farm in Red Hook on July 19, an afternoon tasting event built around the current moment in New York winemaking—specifically the producers pushing the craft toward lower-intervention, more category-defiant territory. Hosted by Katie Morton, wine director at Eliza Bistro and head buyer at Kingston Wine Co., the fair will feature 50-plus wines, ciders, and vermouths from producers working across the state, from the East End to the Finger Lakes.

The setting is worth noting. Rose Hill Farm is a historic orchard established in 1798 on about 114 acres in Red Hook, growing cherries, blueberries, plums, apricots, peaches, and apples using ecological orchard management practices focused on soil and plant health. Rose Hill Ferments operates on the property and produces low-intervention wines, ciders, and co-ferments from primarily estate-grown fruit—making it a fitting host for a fair oriented around exactly that approach to craft. The event takes place outside on the farm grounds.

Food comes from Sira Ulō and Oyster Party. Panel discussions are also on the program; specific topics and participants haven't been announced yet.

The full producer list hasn't been published, but given Morton's background and the fair's explicit focus on forward-thinking and category-defying New York producers, expect a lineup that reflects what's interesting and underknown in the state's wine scene right now rather than its most established names.
