Tivoli's New Cafe/Market Club Sandwich Now Open
From breakfast sammies to deli staples and provisions, you can find it at this new daytime spot on Broadway.

Club Sandwich has just opened its doors at 76 Broadway in Tivoli, promising a bright new daytime hang/lunch spot in the heart of the village. Equal parts café, neighborhood market, and cozy gathering place, it’s the brainchild of hospitality veteran Anna Morris and Fortunes Ice Cream owner Lisa Farjam.
The pair met in 2020, when Farjam rolled her ice cream cart up to Kitty’s in Hudson—where Morris was then working as general manager. Bonding over tennis and a shared craving for great sandwiches, they began to dream up a space of their own. When a spot opened just down the street from Fortunes on Tivoli's main Drag, Farjam called Anna immediately. “And so it began,” Anna says.
As punny name suggests, sandwiches are central to the menu, though there will also be salads and other bites—and an invitation to hang for a bit. Everything is available to eat in, on the patio, or to go—ideal for a quick village lunch or stocking up on picnic provisions. Beer, wine, and excellent coffee round out the offerings. Eventually, they plan to host events and pop-up dinners too.
The opening menu is broken into all-day breakfast offerings; a burrito and an avocado toast served until noon; and heartier lunch sandwiches and salads, offered from 11am on. The $6 breakfast sammy comes with an egg, sharp cheddar cheese, and spicy ketchup on an English muffin, to which you can add bacon, avocado, or a hashbrown for $2 a pop. The more elaborate Good Morning Plate features a kuku sabzi herb frittata, labne, cured black olives, a cucumber tomato salad, and focaccia ($14).
The all-star of the sandwich list is the Club Club—a double-decker on toast with juicy marinated chicken, bacon, peppadew aioli, cole slaw, and tomato ($14). There's also an Italian sub, a tuna reuben, and a Caesar salad wrap, all in the $12-$16 range. For something a little more exotic than your standard deli offerings, opt for the Med with griddled halloumi cheese, muhamarra, crunchy radish, pickled onion, and arugula herb salad on focaccia ($14). All sandwiches come with Ruffles, cole slaw, and a pickle.
Club Sandwich's small, well-stocked grocery section offers essentials (and a few luxuries) for locals and weekenders alike, from canned tomatoes to oat milk, olive oil, stock, peanut butter, and baking basics. With a grab-and-go program in the works, the team hopes to make good food easier to access during the day, whether you’re on a stroll or grabbing dinner fixings.
Morris's background spans restaurants and bar programs from New York City to the Hudson Valley, while Lisa has been running Fortunes since 2019 with her husband Brian. Their combined experience—and enthusiasm—is evident in every detail.
