Brooklyn-based band The National Reserve brings its hybrid of rock, soul, and rhythm & blues to Barrington Hall on Friday, March 27, with an opening set by Whistle & The Stack.
Fronted by singer and guitarist Sean Walsh, The National Reserve has built its reputation through extended live residencies—particularly in New York—where the group’s expansive sets and stylistic range have shaped a sound that moves easily between New Orleans funk, Laurel Canyon songwriting, and blues-driven rock. Their recent album "Motel La Grange" captures that approach in recorded form, but the band’s emphasis remains on live performance.
The evening opens with Whistle & The Stack, a newer project formed by longtime collaborators whose members have performed alongside a wide cross-section of American roots musicians, from Willie Nelson to Neko Case.
Tickets are available in advance through Barrington Hall’s ticketing platform.
