Built in 1875, the John O’Brien House is a unique Victorian in the center of Rhinebeck. It retains its original wood floors, marble fireplaces and light fixtures. In the chef’s kitchen, an island features blue marble countertops from a local quarry, upscale appliances, a farm sink, and a breakfast bar. There is a dining room with custom built-ins, living room with bay window, two parlors, five bedrooms, and three-and-a-half bathrooms. The property has a detached carriage house alongside land that has been approved for a pool site. Listed for $1.495 million by Houlihan Lawrence.
