The Cornwall Library's Labor Day Art Sale is Back
Prints, watercolors, and photographs refresh daily over four days, starting at $25, with every purchase supporting the library

The Cornwall Library marks the eighth annual Labor Day Weekend Benefit Art Sale this year, opening with a cocktail reception on Friday, September 4 and running through Labor Day itself. The sale spans four days: Friday from 6 to 8pm with the reception, Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 4pm, and a shorter final stretch on Labor Day from 11am to 2pm.
The work on offer runs the gamut—antique to contemporary, jazzy and colorful to classic black and white, realistic to abstract—across prints, watercolors, posters, photographs, paintings, and the occasional small three-dimensional piece. Everything is documented as feasible and priced starting at $25, with pieces running well beyond that depending on the work. As pieces sell, new ones take their place, so the show refreshes daily.
Every piece in the sale represents a donated gift supporting the library's book collection and its broader programming—educational events, art exhibitions, literary talks, and community services that run throughout the year at the free, member-supported library.
