Saturday–Sunday, May 9–10 | Hudson, NY

Basilica Farm & Flea returns for its Spring Market on Mother's Day weekend, May 9 and 10, inside Basilica Hudson's 10,000-square-foot historic former factory on the Hudson waterfront. More than 100 regional vendors, makers, farmers, and small businesses spread across the raw industrial space for two days of thoughtful shopping.

Basilica co-founder Melissa Auf der Maur conceived the market as an anti-Black Friday alternative, a place to put money directly into the hands of independent makers and farmers rather than big-box retailers. Thirteen years later that founding spirit is still legible in the vendor mix, which runs from local farms selling produce, meat, and honey to craftspeople, vintage dealers, ceramicists, jewelers, and clothing designers.

This year's Spring Market focuses on garden supplies, spring cleaning products, fresh-cut flowers, and vintage finds. Special programming includes agricultural workshops by Wally Farm—last year they covered mushroom cultivation and water quality testing—pottery throwing demos by Cone Zero Ceramics, the finale gathering of the Mad Hatter Parade with handmade puppets and a live marching band, and a Kids & Kin movement workshop on the south lawn.

No pets or strollers inside. Tickets are $5 per day or $7 for the full weekend; kids under 12 are free.
