Friday, October 30, 7:30–9:30pm | Pine Plains, NY | $20
New York singer, pianist, and songwriter Diana Hickman plays The Grace Note at the Stissing Center on Friday, the night before Halloween. She sits at the piano with a small ensemble and moves between her own songs and reimagined covers of classic pop, soul, and contemporary artists. The evening includes stories between songs and a subtle nod to the holiday, and costumes are welcome but not required.
Hickman is a California native who studied at the Boston Conservatory and is now based in New York. Her music blends soul, pop, and jazz. She has played the Blue Note Jazz Club, Webster Hall, and Brooklyn Bowl, as well as venues around the Hudson Valley. Her background in cabaret and musical theater shapes the show, and the Stissing Center says it moves between stillness, humor, tension, and release.
Tickets are $20.
