25th Hudson Valley Wine & Food Festival
More than 300 vendors, chef demonstrations, and a Riesling from four-time New York Winery of the Year Weis Vineyards mark a quarter-century in Rhinebeck.

The Hudson Valley Wine & Food Festival celebrates its 25th anniversary at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds this weekend, calling it the biggest edition in its history: more than 300 vendors spanning wineries, cideries, distilleries, craft breweries, gourmet specialty foods, food trucks, and artisan makers. The festival launched in 2001 as a regional gathering of wineries and food lovers and has since drawn more than 100,000 visitors across its history.
Beyond tastings, the weekend includes live cooking demonstrations from a lineup of chefs, wine sessions hosted by "Hudson Valley Wine Goddess" Debbie Gioquindo, live music, and a fine arts and crafts marketplace alongside a well stocked food truck selection. Among the wineries pouring is Weis Vineyards, a Finger Lakes producer founded by German-born winemaker Hans Peter Weis and his wife Ashlee, known for bringing traditional German winemaking technique to Keuka Lake's cool-climate terroir — the winery has been named New York State Winery of the Year four times, including this year.
